The Public Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan

The Public Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter referred to as PIPAART) was established in accordance with the Resolution of the International Round Table “Problems and Prospects for the Implementation of International Accounting and Auditing Standards,” held within the framework of the “Interaudit-TJ” project of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Tajik State University of Commerce, supported by the Eurasia Foundation on August 30–31, 2000.

PIPAART carries out its activities on the basis of its Charter (Certificate No. 675 issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan on November 7, 2000, re-registered under Certificate ИЧ No. 764 “B” dated January 24, 2015, and License AU No. 0000872 issued by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 29, 2016).

The Institute is a non-profit, non-governmental, independent, self-governing, and self-financing organization that voluntarily brings together practicing accountants and auditors, as well as lecturers in accounting and auditing. The Institute also has its branch office in the city of Khujand.

The mission of the organization is to provide training and certification for practicing accountants and auditors in accordance with the program of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) IFAC
, to support the training, conversion, and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) in the Republic of Tajikistan, and to promote and protect the professional interests of the Institute’s members.

Conferences and Symposiums

The Public Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan (PIPAART) regularly organizes international and national conferences with the publication of collections of participants’ articles.
